Helping you move beyond what’s happened in the past & reconnect with the present.
Your past experiences do not have to define your future.
Maybe you’ve noticed a tension in your relationships, a sense of disconnect from the things you used to enjoy, or an overwhelming feeling that you’re just not living the life you want. Lately, you’re more irritable, sad, or angry, but can’t quite explain why. You might be using distraction or substances to manage these feelings, but it never helps the way you think it will, at least not for long. Maybe sleep has become a challenge—either you’re struggling to sleep, being woken up by unwelcome images, or having trouble finding the energy to get out of bed. Perhaps it feels like life stopped in some ways and you are ready to feel grounded, connected, and start living again.
This is a space for you to explore what’s holding you back from the life you want. Whether it’s unresolved trauma, ongoing anxiety, or a disconnection from your identity together we can work through your past experiences without letting them define your future.
In therapy you'll always have options when it comes to our approach, the pace of our work, and your definition of healing. My approach to therapy begins with meeting you where you are today, honoring the things that make you unique: your experiences, your relationships, and your identity. With an understanding of your thoughts and feelings in the here and now, we can work together to discover areas of strength and work toward identifying what a meaningful future will look like for you.
In sessions, I provide warmth and validation as we do the challenging work that is necessary to foster growth and healing. We will focus on moving forward in a way that honors your experience while helping you reclaim the parts of life that feel out of reach.
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
My educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Criminal Justice from Newman University. I have a deep passion for working with those who have been exposed to trauma in their professional lives—whether in the military, healthcare, or other helping professions—and have completed specialized training to support these communities.
Let’s work together to create the change you’re seeking, one step at a time.
